FitLife 24/7 is pleased to announce we are reopening June 17th!
Our commitment is to the health and safety of all members and staff. As state guidelines allow for the re-opening of fitness facilities, we will implement a carefully planned approach that includes following CDC and state of CT guidelines, responsible social distancing protocols, and a host of cleaning procedures.
We have increased the number of “Sanitation Stations” the club to ensure there are ample supplies in all areas of the facility to wipe down equipment and sanitize hands. We are requiring all members and the FitLife team members to wipe down all equipment, including free weights, before and after each use.
While we take pride in always maintaining a spotless facility, we nevertheless have increased the number of times our cleaning crew will make their rounds and have added additional cleaning staff. Additionally, all equipment will be disinfected after each use with FitLife 24/7 staff on hand to ensure adherence and that supplies are adequately stocked.
We will implement a touch-less check-in process. To keep everyone safe, upon entry, there will be no physical interaction between employees and members.
Our initial opening hours will be as follows. These hours will go into effect when the club reopens on Wednesday, June 17th:
~ Mon-Thurs 5am-10pm
~ Fri 5am-9pm
~ Sat 7am-2pm
~ Sun 7am-12pm
As part of these re-opening guidelines, club capacity will be limited to 50% of state building code capacity. To comply with this requirement, we ask all members to check-in at the beginning of their visit at the main entrance door. You will certify that you are healthy and read and agree to our posted assumption of risk and wavier of liability. We respectfully request all members please limit their workout to 2 hours during peak times. Given the size of our club; even with this restriction we can still welcome a large group of members into FitLife 24/7 while ensuring ample room for social distancing.
We are excited to continue to offer Spinning which will resume on June 17th. Our Silver Sneakers Classes will continue to be done through Zoom classes until further notice. In accordance with State guidelines, we will reduce class size by 50% and will be adding additional class times as needed. This means you can still enjoy these offerings while following safe social distancing practices! All Members need to sign up 24 hours in advance on fitlife24-7.com or in club. All FitLife 24/7 group class will be 30-minute classes. Please remember that you must sign up to attend a group class, no exceptions at this time.
Every other piece of cardio equipment will be available. This allows us to increase the space between members and take full advantage of our club.
The water fountain will be closed off. The bottles fill is available. You must bring your own water bottle.
Here are a few reminders for when you visit to the gym:
~ If you are vulnerable or at-risk for COVID-19 as identified by the CDC—including those who are over the age of 65 or those who have chronic medical conditions—please take extra precaution and follow CDC guidelines.
~ If you feel sick, have a fever, difficulty breathing, or in the last 2 weeks have been in close contact with a person suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19, please stay home.
~ Be courteous to fellow members and allow for proper social distancing when accessing or using all gym equipment
~ Wash and sanitize your hands often
~ Wipe down equipment before and after use
~ Wear face masks when 6ft apart or you must always remain 12ft apart with no mask
~ Bring your own towel
~ Bring your own yoga mat
USE OF PPE:
The FitLife 24/7 staff will be required to use cloth face coverings at all times in the club we ask that members wear a mask while entering the gym and if you are within 12’ of another member, in accordance with the State of Connecticut’s Phase II re-opening guidelines. We understand Connecticut’s Phase II guidelines allow cloth face coverings to be removed if social distance of 12 feet can be maintained. We will continue to evaluate this policy as state guidance is updated.
FitLife will resume our normal billing on July 1, 2020.
Pre-paid Yearly Membership will now automatically update with a new expiration date extended out the same number of days that FitLife 24/7 was closed.
Members do have the option to freeze their membership up to 90 days.
